The Proton T-1.2 Hard Drive Degausser is a drawer style degausser that permanently erases data from hard drives and various tape media, ensuring data is forensically unrecoverable. It has an effective magnetic field of 1.2 Tesla, and meets U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) requirements for sanitizing unclassified data.
Operation of the Proton T-1.2 is simple; just insert media into the drawer and push the start button. The oversized drawer can accommodate multiple full sized hard drives, and can even degauss server hard drives with the brackets/sleds still on. The large LCD touchscreen displays the magnetic field strength of every cycle to guarantee top performance. Compact and portable, the Proton T-1.2 can easily fit into existing operations and be transported when needed.
